The hotel is situated on the promenade of Las Ramblas, undoubtedly the most emblematic area of the city. It is superbly located right beside the Barrio Gótico and near many other tourist attractions. This hotel is one of the oldest in the city. It occupies a beautiful 19th century building that was previously used as convent in the 17th century. The building has been completely renovated and converted into a beautiful, impeccable hotel that preserves a large part of the building's original charm and décor through its period furniture. We have 142 fully equipped and recently renovated rooms where guests can choose between peaceful rooms that overlook the cloister of the old convent or rooms with a view of the Barcelona's Las Ramblas, a spectacular sight at any hour of the day. The hotel offers a variety of rooms including Standard Double rooms with views of the Liceo theatre, Classic Double rooms, Ramblas rooms, Deluxe Ramblas and family rooms for up to 4 people with full facilities for children; the Ramblas Deluxe room merits special mention with its soundproof windows, views of Las Ramblas, natural light and free minibar. It also includes function rooms with a capacity of up to 300 people. The hotel is located in the historical centre of the city, which means guests can access a large number of tourist attractions within a few metres of the hotel: the Boquería market, the Gothic cathedral, the Liceu, and the CCCB (Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona), not to mention the wide variety of cafés, bars, restaurants and fashion boutiques. The nearest metro stop to the hotel is Liceo, corresponding to L3 (Green line). The line will bring you to Plaza Catalunya, where a wide range of public transport is available: bus, metro and train which provide an easy connection to the airport.
